  • OSFED

  • Binge-eating Disorder

  • Disordered Eating

Trained in CBT-E, FBT, SSCM, motivational interviewing, intuitive eating counselling and the Non-Diet approach to eating, Emma can provide the appropriate solutions for every patient.

Emma is passionate about helping people build a more positive long-term relationship with food, eating and their body. Her aim is to work collaboratively with clients in supporting them to be the healthiest they can be while they learn to nourish, respect, accept and appreciate their bodies.

Emma’s area of interest in Non-Diet health management stems from the research that weight loss diets are ineffective – statistics show that 95% of people who lose weight through dieting  regain an average of 118% within 3 years. Recognising the ineffectiveness of traditional diets, Emma is passionate about working with clients on making healthy behavioural change that involves connecting to and responding to internal body cues as a sustainable approach to health.

Emma is also available for supervision and consultation to clinicians wanting to expand their knowledge in the field of eating disorders.
