Dr Aisling Malone (she/her)

Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are excited to be welcoming Aisling back to the Nourish Nurture Thrive team.

Aisling (Ash) is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience working with children, young people and families. Aisling has held roles in public health, education and private practice, as well as completing child and family assessments for the Children’s Court Clinic. She was employed by the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) for seven years, working closely with young people and families with complex mental health needs.  During this time Aisling worked as part of a team assessing and treating young people with eating disorders and is passionate about uniting with families to help them overcome this illness.

Aisling endeavours to create an empathic and non-judgmental environment in which all participants feel heard and understood. She engages with warmth, honesty and humour, and is committed to developing a strong, positive therapeutic alliance with her clients. In her therapeutic work Aisling draws from a number of evidence-based treatment approaches and works with the young person and family to develop their own goals for recovery or change.

Aisling is passionate about working with young people to help them overcome mental health and eating disorder concerns, and strongly believes that working collaboratively with families and carers is an integral part of this journey. Through her years of experience working alongside her clients and their families, Aisling has seen that recovery is both meaningful and possible and is committed to supporting those seeking help.
